Marco Rubio

Our dumb war with Iran is still going on for reasons that become even more unclear as the weeks drag on. Even the selfish dummies who voted this guy in are starting to turn on him because their SUV juice is getting expensive. Unfortunately for us, and the rest of the world, Congress is dumber than that and agreed to fund this disaster to avoid being accused of not “supporting the troops.”

There wasn’t an entrance strategy, so there’s no hope for an exit strategy. One fuck-up after another until even our allies have to rethink their grand plan to do nothing and wait for the guy to die. Which, to be fair, is also the Democrats’ plan.

Not much funny to say about any of this, so I drew some poops and made fun of Marco Rubio’s big-ass shoes. We all cope with the horrors of war in our own ways.

What a year this week has been, huh? I was mostly done with this cartoon when ICE agent Jonathan Ross murdered Renee Good in Minneapolis, so I shoehorned an oblique reference to it in Rubio’s comments. The only surprising thing is that it took this long for these untrained goons to kill someone the media couldn’t ignore.

Meet the Republican “Resistance”

When I said I was adjusting my production schedule, I didn’t intend for the comic to be this late. I wrote and started drawing a whole other comic about Trump’s North Korea bluster, but the events in Charlottesville rendered that tone deaf so I started from scratch.

I could’ve easily lumped many Democrats in with this faux-resistance crew, but this goes out to several publications that would’ve thrown the phony alt-left epithet at me and stopped sending me checks.

Down and Out in the Senate Races

Down and Out in the Senate RacesOne week until Election Day, and you might be surprised to learn there are other races besides the presidential one going on. Even though the House is safely gerrymandered, the Senate majority is on the line. So make sure to vote for the other stuff on your ballot once you’re done taking your top-of-the-ticket selfie.
