Just because I spared Google from this comic a few weeks ago, doesn’t mean they’re not also trying to shove A.I. down our throats. At Google’s most recent circle jerk, they announced they’d be forcing the frequently incorrect A.I. overviews everyone hates into more of their products, including Search, which built its empire on a clean search that worked when other search engines were filled with clutter and junk.

That’s now the entire business model for everything online, as companies look for ways to get users to pay rent for their increasingly deteriorating products. Nearly 30 years of dominance in search that led “Google” to become a verb, was flushed down the toilet of A.I. It’s almost surprising they didn’t self-immolate during NFTs or the crypto hype cycle.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche put together quite the sweetheart deal for every January 6th C.H.U.D. and set aside nearly $2 billion to compensate them for the pain of facing mild consequences after attempting to overthrow the government. Also in this blatantly corrupt deal was blanket immunity for Trump, and anyone he’s related to, for financial crimes, and probably every other type of crime as well. (I’m not reading all of it.)

This entire century has been ruined by people favoring “looking forward” rather than make anyone responsible of its horrors face a single consequence, and things keep ratcheting for the worse every time. At least Jay Johnston gets a fat check after his Bob’s Burgers ones ran out.

Pete Hegseth’s Pentagon released more “UAP” files and like every time before, they’ve proved nothing but the existence of blurry videos. No need for extraterrestrials while this administration is terrorizing the planet with bombs, embargoes, and a daily torrent of the stupidest stuff the galaxy has ever seen.

The Supreme Court completed John Roberts’ lifelong dream of rolling back the Voting Rights Act and ending the United States’ extremely brief tenure as a true representative democracy. Immediately after their decision last week, former slave states eagerly redrew their maps, and their Black populations out of the electoral process.
