Just because I spared Google from this comic a few weeks ago, doesn’t mean they’re not also trying to shove A.I. down our throats. At Google’s most recent circle jerk, they announced they’d be forcing the frequently incorrect A.I. overviews everyone hates into more of their products, including Search, which built its empire on a clean search that worked when other search engines were filled with clutter and junk.

That’s now the entire business model for everything online, as companies look for ways to get users to pay rent for their increasingly deteriorating products. Nearly 30 years of dominance in search that led “Google” to become a verb, was flushed down the toilet of A.I. It’s almost surprising they didn’t self-immolate during NFTs or the crypto hype cycle.

Holiday Recipes

The holidays snuck up on me, and judging by the Halloween decorations that were up in my neighborhood until this week, the same happened to a lot of people. We finally got our tree up and I’m sure it will be providing living room cheer through most of January.

I can’t say I’ve tested any of these recipes except for Grandma’s Edibles. And now that every formerly vacant storefront in Massachusetts is a dispensary that’s oversaturated the market with affordable edibles, I don’t think I will ever again.

Mike Johnson’s still Speaker and doing evil things quietly enough to avoid much mainstream media scrutiny. The guy’s a coup true believer and Democrats better come up with a better nickname than “MAGA Mike” before it’s too late.
