Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche put together quite the sweetheart deal for every January 6th C.H.U.D. and set aside nearly $2 billion to compensate them for the pain of facing mild consequences after attempting to overthrow the government. Also in this blatantly corrupt deal was blanket immunity for Trump, and anyone he’s related to, for financial crimes, and probably every other type of crime as well. (I’m not reading all of it.)

This entire century has been ruined by people favoring “looking forward” rather than make anyone responsible of its horrors face a single consequence, and things keep ratcheting for the worse every time. At least Jay Johnston gets a fat check after his Bob’s Burgers ones ran out.

Trump’s V.P. Shortlist

General election nonsense is beginning, and there’s allegedly a debate happening next week. Regular folks are doing summery things like vacations and sweating their butts off while drawing this comic in third floor apartments in Boston, Massachusetts. The media however, needs a horserace and “Veepstakes” gives them something to talk about besides “Trump still sucks.” and Biden still slightly older than Trump.”

It doesn’t matter who Trump’s Vice President is more than the legion of flunkies who’ll be put in charge of their terrifying agenda. John Oliver had a good summary of it, that’s better than me typing all about it.

Merrick Garland’s Summer Vacation

I haven’t been watching the January 6th Committee’s hearings. Mainly because we all know it was a failed coup, but also, as far as I know, I don’t have any power to do anything about them.

Merrick Garland does.
