Goon School

ICE, CBP, and the rest of the DHS secret police divisions are terrorizing the Twin Cities for protesting their murder of Renee Good, who was out protecting her neighbors these goons were originally targeting. The “Immigration” and “Customs” portion of the ICE acronym were rendered meaningless decades ago, and now the only thing they’re enforcing are the whims of a demented, smelly old man and his team of racist elder abusers.

Todd Lyons has been the acting director of ICE this entire time, but he’s kept a lower profile than the rest of these ghouls over the past year. Unfamiliar with what he looks like, I did some research, and the difference between his official portrait and what he actually looks like is striking.

Don’t become a functionary for a fascist pogrom if you want to keep your youthful looks, kids. Hopefully the accelerated aging it’s causing affects them all by spring.

Any city in a blue state could be targeted next, so stay safe out there and look out for your neighbors

Protest Costumes

The regime is desperate to make antifascism, or “antifa” to make it sound scary, the pretext for its authoritarian crackdown on cities. Protestors in Portland, Oregon have subverted this with ridiculous costumes that highlight the absurdity of the current moment. Portland Frog has become the face of this movement.

Turns out an effective way to fight evil weirdos is having good weirdos show up.

Public opinion is already vastly against this administration. The media loves a riot to try to turn public around, so making the administration’s goons the only violent ones providing violent footage is a savvy move. Silly costumes aren’t the only way, though. Mutual aid, sabotage, and other organizing are essential to stopping the fascist tide washing over the country. But the costumes are much more fun to draw.

Republican Budget Games

Fascism now has a congressionally approved budget and the Supreme Court’s seal of approval. Happy 4th of July anyway. Jefferson and Adams both died on that date and maybe it’ll happen again.

This budget is a horror show and gives ICE enough funding to send a whole team in ill-fitting tactical gear to rendition me for depicting them as a Kirby-pig. They’re already building the camps and anyone who thinks you’re being hyperbolic for saying this is a blissful idiot. I’m honestly jealous of their ignorance. Knowing the horrors that are coming doesn’t feel great, man.

I’m old and had an NES during my formative years, then moved over to the Sega Genesis instead of the SNES. I had the N64 and Gamecube in college, but references run dry once I moved over to the Playstation.

White House Approved Programming

Paramount needs federal approval for a merger, so they’re bending over backwards to appease the administration (it won’t work, they’ll just demand more obedience) by neutering CBS’s autonomy in its news coverage. Other corporate media giants have done the same to pre-emptively appease an administration that barely squeaked out a win and is already underwater in every conceivable poll.

That might work for some industries, but the media requires appealing to audiences bigger than one demented individual in the White House.
