I spend my day job driving to and all around the wealthier Boston ‘burbs, and have seen many elaborate, and undoubtedly expensive Halloween displays over the last week. You can keep your $300 12-foot skeletons, nothing beats the charm of the D.I.Y. decorations, handmade by kids of all ages.

Ages ago there were readers who’d incorporate my jokes into their Halloween displays. They’d send me photos and it was delightful. I hope they’re doing well, wherever they are.

Since their last outburst didn’t goose their revenue, the A.I. Tech Bros. new hype message is that artificial intelligence is going “rogue” and so dangerous that it needs to be regulated. This is their way of ensuring they get federal bailout money when the bubble bursts and takes the real economy down with it.

America.gov is a real chatbot put out by the administration to tell lies to the biggest rubes on the internet. It’s dumb as shit, but still smarter than Eric Schmitt.

Once again, I left Microsoft out of the comic. Not because they’re good, but because my PC is so old that I don’t get the push notifications to use Copilot or whatever they’re calling their A.I. garbage these days.
