Jeff Sessions

Removing Another Confederate Monument

This is an exclusive cartoon just for $5+ patrons. Become a supporter here.

New Orleans is taking down several monuments to the Confederacy and Jim Crow. But Jefferson Beauregard Sessions is still our Attorney General.

This cartoon is just some wish fulfillment until it’s hopefully realized in 2020, if Sessions doesn’t restrict voting rights to everyone but his ancient ass by then.

President Trump won’t throw out the first pitch at the Nationals’ home opener. The White House claims there’s a scheduling conflict, but we all know it’s to avoid an embarrassing thunder of boos.

It’s tempting to assume our doughy, old, and large-assed president can’t throw a pitch over the plate, but he apparently did that at a Jimmy Fund fundraiser at my beloved Fenway Park. But he looked like a goon doing it.

Whether he actually donated anything to the Jimmy Fund is up to David Farenthold to find out.

The Judiciary Committee’s Absentee Excuses

Absentee ExcusesI previously picked on Mitch McConnell for stonewalling President Obama just hours after Scalia kicked the bucket. McConnell’s Republican pals on the Senate Judiciary Committee are pulling the same crap and refusing to even meet with Merrick Garland. They really have no endgame, this is just obstruction for obstruction’s sake.
