The Senate’s Suicide Squad

There’s plenty of obstruction from Republicans. No need for a Sabotage Caucus to help find “common ground” with the same people who tried to have them murdered three weeks ago.

Democrats have ostensibly had the majority in the Senate for a week now, and Republicans are still in charge of committees because Chuck and this bunch are too chicken to use the power voters and volunteers gave them.

Every week where nothing’s done is another week closer to the 2022 midterms. The pandemic death toll will keep climbing as people have to work even while the Senate isn’t. “Not Trump” isn’t going push them over the finish line this time.

White House Exit Interviews

Until the seditious congressmembers are expelled or hobbled by eliminating the senate filibuster, they’ll continue to stall everything in order to steal power back in 2022 and beyond.

I’m 41 and the memories of Obama’s failures in 2009-2010 that led to the Tea Party, which led to Trump, are still fresh in my mind. Hopefully President Biden’s “unity” talk was just for those of us who are united against fascism.

Republican Couphemisms

The riot/insurrection/coup by the MAGA mob was very bad, but what was even worse are the members of Congress who voted to throw out the election results to pander to that mob.

They must be expelled or we’re in for four years of escalations and mob violence. Sorry to put a downer on any virtual Inauguration parties you’re planning next week.

Some violent sedition happened while I was drawing this cartoon about the worsening pandemic. 2021’s going great!

I was all set to get ahead on so much this week, then a coup attempt happened. Unfortunately, pandemic cartoons look like they’ll be evergreen throughout the year.
